Privacy
Elemental Armory is made by Chach16 and Crest Systems. The site is run by Oddsphere, LLC, which does business as Crest Systems. You can reach us at [email protected] about anything on this page.
The game is for players aged 13 and over. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child under 13 has an account, email us and we'll delete it.
Your account
When you first open the game it creates an account for you automatically. You don't give us a name or an email address to play.
- Your browser keeps a random account key in a cookie. That key is also your recovery code. Our server stores only a one-way hash of it.
- If you sign in with Google, Google tells us a stable account number for you. We store only a one-way hash of that number. We don't receive or keep your email address, name, contacts or password.
- If you pick a username and password, we store the username and a salted, slow hash of the password. We never store the password itself.
- We store what you've earned and unlocked: Shards, skins, emotes, the play time that earned them, and your Bounce Duels progress if you save it to your account. Bounce Duels progress is also kept in your browser's local storage.
Playing online
When you play online, the game server records what happens in each room so we can balance the game: the display name shown in that match, the elements and upgrades chosen, and how each life ended. Bounce Duels sends similar game events, such as rounds, decks and results. None of these records contain your IP address or your account key.
Analytics
We use our own copy of Umami to count visits and a few in-game actions, like which mode you start. It doesn't use cookies or advertising identifiers, and it's set up to ignore the query part of page addresses. You can block it in your browser and the game works the same.
Purchases
If paid items become available, payments will be handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach our servers. We receive a record of the purchase: what was bought, the amount and currency, Stripe's references for the payment, and which game account it was for. We keep that record so the item stays on your account on every device, and for our business and tax records.
Servers and logs
The game runs on a server we rent in Dallas, Texas, behind Cloudflare. Like most websites, these services see your IP address when you connect. Our server uses it briefly to limit repeated sign-in attempts and too many requests, and hosting providers may keep ordinary request logs.
Sharing
We don't sell your information or share it for advertising. Other companies only see what they need to run the service: Cloudflare and our host carry the traffic, Google confirms a sign-in when you use it, and Stripe processes payments.
Keeping and deleting it
We keep account data while the account exists. There isn't an automatic deletion schedule. Email [email protected] to ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. Include your recovery code or the username you signed in with so we can find the account. Purchase records may need to be kept for tax and accounting even after an account is deleted.
If this page changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top.
